Youth & Children

Here at St Peter's we have lots of activities and fun for children and teenagers, all designed to help young people get to know Jesus and grow in their faith. You are very welcome to join us.

If there is anything you would like to know about the activities we have each week, then have a look through the activities section. If you have any questions or would like to join us please get in touch with Sophieour Youth and Children's Ministry Leader.

Tiddlers (Pre-School)

Tiddlers is our long running group for babies, pre-schoolers, and their care-givers. It is a free morning of fun with songs, toys, crafts and stories. Bring your little one(s) and meet other families in the community. Refreshments are served for adults as well as the little ones! Tiddlers meet on Term-Time Tuesdays 10am-11:30am.

Messy Church (All Age)

Messy Church is fun and informal. It's church but not as you might know it! We usually have Messy Church every other month with a different theme each time, including our Light Night Halloween alternative, and Messy Christingle. Check out our Facebook page for updates.

On Sundays

We love to have children as part of our Sunday services. We run a regular all-age family worship on the 1st Sunday of the month. On all other term-time Sundays there is a group called X:Cite for primary-aged children. For more information see our Sunday Services page

For Pre-School aged children there is a small play area and Toddler Toy Bags available too.

Please don't worry about the noise your children may make!

Friday Club (Age 7-11)

Friday Club runs every fortnight during term-time from 6.30-7.45pm at Blythe Bridge Methodist Church. We have lots of fun, share news, get involved in an activity and reflect on God in our lives. Contact Sophie for details of how to join and what’s currently happening.

Youth Fellowship (Age 11-18)

Youth Fellowship runs fortnightly on Fridays from 8:15-9:30pm at Blythe Bridge Methodist Church, during term time. We enjoy table tennis, games, craft activities, and reflecting on God in our lives. Contact Sophie for details of how to join and what’s currently happening.

God Squad (Age 16-21)

God Squad is a group for young people to delve deeper into their Christian faith, encouraging each other to live out their faith in all aspects of life. We meet every 3 weeks on a Monday evening at The Rectory. Contact Sophie for more information and details of when we’re next meeting.
